Created a new and improved design of the old phone stand. It improved multiple things Including adding a charging dock and a stand that can hold phones that weigh more. 3 features of this design are the charge dock, the high weight capabilities even enough to hold a tablet and the small design of the stand.The phone stand also has a feature where it has an extending pivot piece that can fold out to make it possible to hold tablets and larger devices. To build this device I took multiple pieces of poster board to build a heavy stable base. Then I build a pillar to hold the actual phone. after this I added a joint piece to hold another slab of poster board. this piece was used to extend the length of the pillar.
